Dave Kelly
Dave Kelly is a prominent Blues guitarist, born in London
Dave first recorded for Tony McPhee on his groundhog series recordings in 1968 on the album Me and the Devil. Tony featured Dave’s sister Jo-Ann Kelly and gave a track for Dave to sing and play on.
At this time Tony McPhee disbanded the groundhogs and with Dave Kelly and his sister Jo-Ann moved over to the John Dummer Blues Band where he recorded two albums 1968 Cabal and 1969 John Dummers Band.
After Leaving John Dummer Blues Band in 1969, Dave formed his own Band, first Fire Point then with his sister Tramp, both bands releasing an album.
In 1979 Dave Kelly along with Paul Jones became a founding member of the Blues Band where he plays and records todate.
Dave has alongside of his work with the Blues band recorded solo albums and tours under the name of The Dave Kelly Band.
